The river
binds
itself
like a scarf
tight
around
the wooden
beams
speaking
their
way
down
through
her
gown,
& the ferry
tell
comes
undone,
out
in the open
waters.
The river
hems
the wooden
beams
under
her streams
& the ferry
tell
moves
its
rumor
open
scrapping
some paint
off
the wooden
beams
into her
streams
