curbside love. [raw]

Camouflaged in a kiss

I’m a rider

of the galloping

messengers

hurled out

from her tongue,

they’re on the run

now,

sent out for me

out on the curb.

I saw lightening,

I saw the lashes strip

through…

… Yet, oh, too late!

They stung,

struck

and pulled

me

helpless

into the storm…

Camouflaged in the kiss,

you’re my reaper!

Your lips

sinking throat deep

their high flying heralds.

Oh, how they unfurl!

Camouflaged in this kiss

in dirty blue jeans,

she s p e l l s

the world shut…

Curbside love.
